About Us

We’re two friends who met as roommates at Yale. Though we came from different parts of the world and studied different subjects, we shared a love of education and all things college life. Both of us had ‘Do It Yourself’ college application experiences, so we knew how difficult it is to navigate the process from the outside. That’s why we created Akros in our senior year at Yale, starting with our first cohort of online students from Beijing, China. From application essays to seminar classes, we're excited to get to know you and help you achieve your college goals.
